Welcome to SPA NURSING HOME, a private Hospital incorporated in Kenya with Limited liability and fully owned.

SPA HOSPITAL fraternity focuses on providing services that are needed and wanted by the community. SPA Nursing Home maintains a level of very high standard of care that significantly raises the local health status.

SPA Nursing Home started in Thika town in 1995 in a two-room rented premise. Then, it only offered general outpatient services with two employees; the doctor-in-charge and a receptionist. In 1997, these services were relocated to Nairobi at Parkroad/ Ngara and expanded to incorporate a routine laboratory. Towards the close of 2003; further business realignment saw the services moved to the Central Business District at Afya Centre where an office is maintained to-date. In 2007, an inpatient facility was built at Ruiru in Kiambu County to cater for the increasing number of patients and their diverse needs. Currently the institution has a work force of 15 in all departments’ employees.

Our services are specialized and with qualified consultants in all the major areas of medicine, we are able to cater to the major health requirements of the population. we are also involved in rarely available health services where we cater for:

• Maternity services: Normal & Caesarian delivery

• 24Hrs pharmacy

• Family planning & ante-natal care services

• Childhood and travel vaccines

• Well woman/well man clinics

• Ultrasound services: abdominal, renal, obstetric, pelvic etc

• Lab services: pap smear ,tft, uec/lft, lipid profile, uric acid, fna, histology, haemogram etc

• Minor and major theatre

• Confidential HIV counseling & testing

• Occupational health services
